Rick’s Smokehouse BBQ & Grill is a local business in Terre Haute, IN. For this project, the goal was to capture an aspect of the business that does not involve signage but still represents the essence of the business, and incorporate it into a layout. It was crucial to showcase Rick’s “Slow Smoked, Hand Pulled” BBQ and some delicious sides. I achieved this by keeping the food in focus while blurring the background. Additionally, I adjusted the lighting to ensure that the food looked as fresh in the photo as it did in person.
